About Our Training
We first started providing interpreter training in 2006, delivering Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses, Professional Mentoring, and then later we introduced Initial Interpreter Training (IIT) Signature Level 6 Diploma in BSL-English Interpreting.

In 2023 we ceased delivering the Level 6 Diploma in BSL-English Interpreting to focus on our CPD provision. We have a team of excellent assessors who offer outstanding training and support to all the interpreters and translators we work with. Our lead tutor/assessor Stephen Ellis-Menton was nominated for the Signature Excellent Teacher of the Year Award.

All of our assessment team staff are qualified as both interpreters and assessors, with some holding additional teaching degrees or supervision qualifications too. We are passionate about providing high-quality interpreter education to ensure that you get the best out of your professional development.
