What is mentoring?
Mentoring is a powerful personal development and empowerment tool. It is an effective way of helping people to progress in their careers and is becoming increasingly popular as its potential is realised.
Mentoring sessions can be tailored to meet your needs and will focus on areas of development, helping you challenge your own practice and become a more reflective practitioner. Support can also be given for those undertaking their NVQ interpreter training.
Mentees will be provided with a Record and Development file to track their progress during the mentoring relationship. Combining a mix or training activities, professional discussion and guidance, mentoring is a sure way to help you achieve your goals!
Mentoring sessions are held via Zoom which means that you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home in order to start working on your future development. Sessions usually last for 1 hour after which you will be eligible to claim 1 Structured CPD point for every hour of mentoring completed, subsequent unstructured points may be claimed for work undertaken outside of your mentoring session.
